Summer Internships
Our Summer Internship Program provides 10 weeks of full-time ministry experience designed to help participants grow as ministry leaders. Interns are exposed to a variety of ministry areas while serving in a designated area based on their interests, gifts, and abilities. Internship opportunities are available in Student Ministries, Worship, Missions & Outreach, Family Ministries, Discipleship & Preaching, and Media Arts. Each intern receives a weekly stipend and free housing throughout the program.
Most importantly, our internship is about development. We want to invest in each intern and help them grow into an effective, Christ-centered ministry leader. Throughout the 10 weeks, interns will have several opportunities to learn, grow, and receive intentional discipleship and leadership development.
1. Personalized Leadership Development
Interns receive a personalized leadership assessment along with follow-up coaching sessions to help them understand, apply, and grow from their assessment.
2. Developing a Healthy Church Mindset
We help interns sharpen their ecclesiology—their convictions about what a healthy local church is and how it should function.
3. Intentional Discipleship
Each intern is discipled weekly, both individually and as part of the intern group, providing opportunities to grow in faith, character, and ministry leadership.
Pastoral Residencies
Our residencies exist to fulfill the Great Commission by training healthy pastors who multiply healthy churches. We fulfill this mission by developing the ministry competency and leadership capacity of inexperienced men who are aspiring to ministry through theological learning, leadership coaching, and hands-on ministry experience.
Our Residency Options
3-Year Seminary Residency
Our 3-Year Seminary Residency allows residents to pursue an accredited Master of Divinity degree through Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, IN. While pursuing their MDiv, residents serve full-time on our staff, where they are developed as leaders and gain experience serving in various areas of ministry.
18-Month Leadership Residency
Our 18-Month Leadership Residency provides leadership and preaching/teaching experience for inexperienced men who are pursuing pastoral ministry. This full-time position focuses on developing skills that seminary may not fully teach, such as administration, leadership, and preaching, while refining pastoral giftings and increasing readiness to serve as a pastor or missionary.
