key passage

"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old has passed away, behold, the new has come."  2 Corinthians 5:17

A Transformed Mind | Romans 12:1-18, 1 Corinthians 1:9, Philippians 1:3-7

The gospel first changes our hearts and minds. Then, as a result, it changes, or transforms, how we live.  God wants us to show friendship and love to one another. As believers, we all belong to Jesus. His death and resurrection bring us together.  The Holy Spirit changes the way we think and live so we can love one another as God has loved us.

Questions for family discussion

1. What do you think it means to be a living sacrifice? (Romans 12:1)

2. Who changes us?

3. Why do you think God gives different gifts?

When we trust in Jesus, God adopts us into His family, so other believers become our brothers and sisters in Christ. God wants us to show friendship and love to one another. We can work togethers according to the gifts God gives us as we obey the mission to tell the world about Jesus. (Gospel Project)
