Kids Rock Update

New Testament Books of the Bible Challenge

The students in grades K-5 are being challenged with memorizing the New Testament books of the Bible. Statistics show that if a student is unable to find Bible passages when they enter middle school and high school youth groups they are less likely to continue attending. The Kids Rock directors want to help to lessen this happening with our students and assure that they have the best start possible start as they enter middle/high school youth groups. Learning the books of the Bible is just one way that we are partnering with parents to do so. Watch for more exciting preparation to take place in the future, especially for our fifth grade students. Below is a link for the song that we are singing in Kids Rock Worship to help remember the books.

It’s time for the Develop Milestone. You should have received a flyer from your student outlining exactly what is involved in this Milestone. If not here you go: This milestone equips families to lead their children toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Questions that will be answered are:

  • How do I talk to my kids about Jesus?
  • How do I talk to my kids about salvation?
  • How do I talk to my kids about baptism?

This event will take place on Sunday, February 18, 2018 and is for both parents and elementary age children. It will last from 12:30-1:30 and childcare will be provided for siblings, as well as, lunch.

We would love to see you and your family at this very important event. Please RSVP by Sunday, February 11. You may call the church at 765-362-5494, email Mrs. Emmert at or sign up online at This milestone is required for kids under 12 who are interested in being baptized.

We hope to see to you on the 18th!
