Talk about bravery and courage; those the characteristics of one of Jesus’ greatest leaders, Stephen. Stephen was appointed to serve the many people who were becoming Christ believers, he was wise and well-respected. God blessed Stephen and allowed him to do many wonders and miracles, similar to the apostles. Stephen was very bold and said that Jesus was the Messiah. The Jews did not believe Stephen and grew very angry at the things that Stephen was saying. Stephen was bold enough to tell the people that when Jesus, the One whom God had promised, came to earth, the people had rejected him and killed him. The Jewish people grew more mad with this news. Stephen was filled with the Holy Spirit and when he looked up into Heaven, he saw Jesus standing at God’s right hand. The Jewish leaders grew so mad that they decided to stone Stephen. Stephen was not afraid to die so that others could hear the Good News of Jesus. Stephen was brave and courageous and stood for the truth about Jesus, who is the Son of God.
